Taylor Kia of Boardman sold the most new vehicles during the month with 113 units, followed by Greenwood Chevrolet of Austintown with 104 new cars and trucks sold. Fairway Ford Mercury, Canfield, reported sales of 92 units, Bob & Chuck Eddy Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Austintown, said it sold 79, and Spitzer Autoworld, Lordstown, reported 73 new vehicles were sold in Novmeber.Automobile dealers in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties enjoyed better sales in November compared to last year, according to an industry report that tracks local showrooms.
The Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio reports area showrooms sold 1,752 new cars and trucks during the month compared to 1,677 a year earlier, an improvement of 4.4%. Combined sales of new and used vehicles stood at 4,917, a 2% increase over the 4,815 sold last year at this time.
